The Official Hertford 2022 Calendar is now on sale at the Hertford Town and Tourist Information Centre.
During the summer the public submitted their photographs of Hertford in a competition to be included in the calendar.
Over 80 people entered a total of more than 200 images for the competition. The judging panel made up of the Mayor of Hertford, Cllr Bob Deering, Deputy Mayor Cllr Jane Sartin and Hertford based Designer and Photographer Paul Crowley, had the difficult task of selecting 13 photographs for the cover and each month.
Paul Crowley also lent his expertise in the graphic design of the calendar ensuring the colour vibrancy was enhanced and modernising the look and feel of it.
A private launch event took place at Hertford Castle on Wednesday 13th October where the lucky winners were awarded a copy of the calendar and a certificate signed and presented by the Mayor.
The Mayor of Hertford, Cllr Bob Deering said:
'A big thank you to everyone who took part in this year’s calendar competition. We had a record number of entries and the images submitted far outweighed the number of pages available in the calendar. Every image submitted was of a very high standard. Those chosen for the 2022 Calendar will showcase to residents and visitors alike what a place Hertford is and why we are so proud of our town. Many congratulations to the 13 successful contributors.'
The Official Hertford 2022 Calendar is available to buy at the Hertford Town and Tourist Information Centre for £10 each or two for £18. The calendar can also be purchased via the Hertford Town Council online shop at https://www.hertfordtownshop.co.uk/ .
