Hertford Calendar Competition 2024

Hertford Calendar Competition 2024

Calling all budding photographers! The hunt is on for photographs to represent Hertford in the Town’s official Calendar, published by Hertford Town Council and sold in the Hertford Town and Tourist Information Centre.

We are looking for images of Hertford and the winners will be selected and included in our 2025 Calendar.

We are looking for a variety of images to cover all seasons. Photographs must be of Hertford and could be of the parks and gardens, the Town’s four rivers, historic landmarks, events taking place or something else that the ‘eye of the beholder’ sees interest and beauty in.

Photographs must be submitted by the closing date of Friday 30th August 2024. To enter, simply send your photograph to tic@hertford.gov.uk  in jpg/high-resolution format, along with your name, address, telephone number and where in Hertford it was taken. Please note entrants are asked to submit a maximum of three photographs and they can be as creative as they wish!

Successful applicants will be presented with a complimentary Calendar and certificate, by the Mayor of Hertford at a presentation at Hertford Castle in the Autumn.

Cllr Ann Woodward, Chair of the Development and Leisure Committee commented: “Hertford is such a beautiful place – so many green spaces and so much natural beauty; it provides a wonderful opportunity for keen photographers. I am really looking forward to seeing all of the entries for this year's calendar competition and will be first in the queue to buy my copy of the calendar for next year from our local Town and Tourist Information Centre'.
