This year, 43 very exciting artists are participating and you can check out their work across 38 prime town centre locations. From sculptures to cartoonist, oil on canvas to pottery there is something for everyone.
With returning artists such as Deana Kim Page, Claire Costello and Nick Shipton, as well as some brand new ones for you to explore, including Clive Patterson and Mae Norman, this event is not to be missed.
The Town Council are delighted to continue promoting local artists and supporting the businesses with this month long festival. Chairman of Hertford Town Council’s Development and Leisure Committee, Cllr Jane Sartin, said: “The Hertford Arts Festival is going from strength to strength each year. The participation of 43 artists is going to make exploring the Hertford Art Trail a must-do activity this spring, and the Festival is shining a spotlight on the many cultural organisations which add to the vibrancy of the town.”
During the event, a number of other organisations are putting on some fantastic cultural events not to be missed including the Courtyard Arts Open Exhibition, Hertford Theatre Week, Hertford Book Festival and the Hertford Art Society Exhibition. More information on all of these events and more can be found by visiting www.gohertford.co.uk nearer the time.
