Hertford residents are invited to get active by taking part in free exercise sessions, and find out how to improve their physical and mental health at the Hertford Castle Health & Wellbeing event on Saturday 10th July 2021 9am to 4pm.
Booking is now open for a variety of free fitness and wellbeing classes from local instructors on the Hertford Castle lawn. The event will be open to all for everyone to visits stalls offering refreshments, and to meet experts covering topics including meditation, coaching, children’s relaxation toys, spiritual beads, and a local gym will be on hand to provide tips and solutions to help guests feel fitter, stronger and happier.

Attendance is free but classes must be pre-booked online at www.hertford.gov.uk/events. Tickets are only required for fitness classes, entry to visit the stalls does not require a ticket.
This event is free of charge, but donations are welcome for the Mayor of Hertford’s Appeal Fund, which is this year raising funds for Isabel Hospice and The Samaritans
COVID-19 Secure Event
In line with Government guidance, amendments to the event will be taken to enable visitors to safely attend this event. These include individual pods marked on the lawn for class participants and guests will be expected to adhere to social distancing rules at all times. The Chairman of the Town Council’s Development and Leisure Committee, Cllr Jane Sartin, said: “The Hertford Castle Health and Wellbeing event is a great opportunity to try out exercise classes that might lead to a new hobby and learn more about wellbeing activities.
