The Official Hertford 2025 Calendar is now on sale at the Hertford Town and Tourist Information Centre.
Over the summer, the public were invited to submit their photographs of Hertford in a competition to be included in the calendar.
There were over 150 entries for the competition. The judging panel, made up of the Mayor of Hertford, Councillor Rachel Carter; Chair of the Development and Leisure Committee, Councillor Ann Woodward and Hertford based designer and photographer Paul Crowley; had the challenging task of selecting photographs for the cover and each month. Six photos were also selected to receive a Mayor’s Commendation.
This year’s calendar is A3 sized (folded to A4, landscape) and printed on environmentally friendly, recycled paper.
A launch event took place at Hertford Castle on Sunday 27th October where the deserving winners were all awarded a copy of the calendar and a certificate, signed and presented by the Mayor of Hertford.
The Mayor of Hertford, Councillor Rachel Carter said:
“Selecting winners from so many beautiful images of Hertford was exceptionally challenging - all the photographs capture different aspects of our special town, which we are so privileged to live in. Thank you so much to everyone who took part and many congratulations to all our winners and those who received commendation.”
The Official Hertford 2025 Calendar is available to buy at the Hertford Town and Tourist Information Centre for £12.50 each – the perfect gift for Christmas!
